Sorcha Richardson

Sorcha Richardson is an Irish-born art consultant, curator and advisor who currently splits her time between the UK, Egypt and Ireland.

A former director at White Cube, one of the world’s foremost contemporary galleries, Sorcha spent the last 12 years based in London. As well as her work as an artist liaison she played a key role in shaping the development of the gallery and its curatorial function and has been part of its senior leadership team as it expanded its base beyond London to Hong Kong, Paris, New York and West Palm Beach and was also pivotal in launching its online platform in 2020.

In 2023 Sorcha joined Conart, an innovative social art marketplace, where she is using her wealth of industry experience to empower artists to live sustainably through their practice.

Sorcha’s academic pursuits laid the foundation for her career. After a BA in the History of Art and Architecture at Trinity she obtained an MA in Art and Business at the University of Aberdeen. She remains connected to the visual art community in Ireland through her support of the Irish Museum of Modern Art and the Douglas Hyde Gallery, Trinity College.
